Affirmations are incredibly powerful and for me, plays such a big part of my daily routine and self love journey. Before I even step out of bed and begin my day, I like to ground myself and start the day with my affirmations. ⁣⁣

Whenever people ask me about affirmations, the most questions I get are about how to start! For many, it feels funky and uncomfortable to speak to yourself and say these things out loud, but with consistent practice and additional help from apps, it gets easier over time!⁣⁣

When I first started my affirmation practice, I always felt icky about it, but once I started to incorporate it in my daily routine and found what had worked best for me, it has done wonders for my mindset and how I navigate my life. I’ve said this before, but with the help of affirmations, meditation, and journaling, I’ve truly felt like I’m my most aligned, confident, and whole self. 💗⁣⁣

One tip that I didn’t share which isn’t specific to affirmations, but applies to everything is that… 👉 Consistency is KEY 👈 And the most important thing to know about consistency is that consistency doesn’t mean doing it *perfectly* every time, but rather the act of doing. ✨⁣⁣

So do the damn thing and incorporate affirmations into your daily life!⁣⁣
