ABOUT

ALYSSA MOPIA

Alyssa Mopia is a San Diego-based producer, filmmaker, and multidisciplinary artist dedicated to crafting stories that resonate beyond the screen. As the co-founder of Future’s Past, a full-service production studio, she creates commercial, narrative, and documentary projects that center human stories through a cinematic and documentarian lens.

Her experience spans roles as an Associate Producer and Story Producer for commercial and unscripted projects on platforms such as Netflix, Facebook Watch, and VH1. Beyond film, her artistic practice extends into ceramics and writing, exploring themes of connection, memory, and intention. Whether through film, clay, or storytelling, Alyssa’s mission is to create work that deeply connects—capturing the in-between moments that shape our lives.

Multi-Disciplinary Storyteller

Living, Creating, and Connecting with Purpose

Beyond the screen, my work is rooted in connection, creativity, and collaboration. Some days, you’ll find me in the pottery studio, shaping pieces that blend artistry with function. Other days, I’m lost in a book—whether it’s a Sarah J. Maas fantasy escape or a deep dive into self-growth. And when the mood calls for connection, I’m out in the world—attending local events, sharing ideas over coffee, or simply soaking in the stories unfolding around me.

I believe we are multi-faceted beings, constantly evolving, and this space reflects that—a place to share what inspires me, the projects I’m bringing to life, and the moments in between that make it all meaningful.
