Huzzah, the food gods have answered my cravings and I was finally able to fulfill my blooming onion craving! But before that all happened, a spontaneous trip to the fair was called for by my best friend and I in no way am in any position to deny her invitation, so naturally I obliged. First things first (I’m the realest), we got some sandwiches – I opted for the philly grilled cheese while she got the pulled pork mac and cheese. Both were equally delicious! Then we sought out the nearest photobooth that we should bombard because it’s our yearly tradition – photobooths will never fail us, even when we aren’t at the fair. Then with time to spare we decided to go on a few rides – we tackled on Crazy Mouse and it was just as crazy as the last time I went. Then we went on the Grand Wheel, the view from up there is so beautiful despite the somewhat scary ride up to the top. The fair is so lovely at night and finally we ended it with the grand finale, my long awaited blooming onion.
I am forever thankful for my best friend, her company and the laughs and good times she provides. Today was no exception and I look forward to more days like this with her before she goes back to Arizona!
