Being in love with yourself isn’t wrong. If anything, it’s the best thing you can do. I see you in my reflection and have seen you grow into someone I would hardly recognize a few years ago. Channeling transparency and vulnerability has truly created something so beautiful inside of you. And though many people do not agree with the lifestyle you lead, you can’t please everyone. You just have to remember that what you do, you’re doing it for you. At the end of the day, your intentions are nothing but good.
Please continue to pour your heart and your soul into what you believe in. Nothing worth having comes easy, and it’s going to be tough to get where you want to be. But by channeling that self-love, living with intention, and taking those extra risks… You’ll definitely get there. Even if you’re just taking those baby steps. Progress is progress, don’t forget that. And stop beating yourself up about it.
In case you needed another reminder that you should have fun and life shouldn’t be taken too seriously, take these wise words from Mary Anne Radmacher:
“Live with intention.
Walk to the edge.
Play with abandon.
Choose with no regret.
Appreciate your friends.
Continue to learn.
Do what you love.
Live as if this is all there is.”
Life is truly what you make of it. Live, love, laugh, and never forget to put yourself first.
