This list grows the more I get to explore and discover small businesses, but in lieu of #SmallBusinessSaturday, I wanted to share a few of my favorites! Here are some of my favorite small businesses to shop and especially for the holidays!
NTS Bracelets – I’ve shared what my NTS Bracelets mean to me in a blog post a little while ago, but I just love how these bracelets have little note to self reminders just when you need them! And you can stack ’em too! So fun!
Nomad West – Kat from Nomad West is the biggest sweetheart and creates beautiful handcrafted pieces that make a bold statement! Most of them contain crystals, and the one I have is the Kiko style and it has a labradorite pendant that exudes self-discovery and helps protect your aura.
Don’t Hassle my Tassel – I received a necklace as a gift and I love how it just adds the perfect amount of sparkle and statement to an outfit! I wore a velvet blue dress for Thanksgiving and this necklace complimented it so well!
RED WOLF PDX – When I first discovered Red Wolf, I was immediately obsessed! Their GRL PWR tee is what totally won me over and I’ve been swooning over their pieces ever since! I just ordered their “We are the Cosmos” tee, and I’m ecstatic to style it!
At the Moment – A local brand owned and ran by a dear friend, Johnny, creates eclectic graphics and cozy outerwear that I just love! I wore a few pieces during the cool weather in Chicago and SF and felt right at home!
One of None – A good friend of mine, Veej, created One of None to remind us that we all we got! And it’s so dope to see his visions come to life on graphics tees and the like! You may have seen some of these in my past blog post highlighting a day in San Diego.
Egonomics – I’m a fan of this brand because it was created by my talented boyfriend, Ian. He created this brand way before we met and has produced pieces that inspire confidence! The tan dad hat is my personal fave.
Huntress Florals – For your floral needs, Huntress Florals is a great choice! They have so many amazing options in their boutique and they made the most beautiful flower crown for a shoot I had in the desert recently!
Paru Tea Bar – Amy of Paru Tea Bar just launched her online store so you can purchase her teas that are blended here in San Diego! I remember seeing her colorful teas pop up all over so when I finally got to try it myself, I immediately fell in love! My fave is the earl grey lavender!
Solid Form Studio – These handcrafted concrete geometric vessels are all made with love by Cece! I love the aesthetic of these pieces because they are both simple and complex at the same time. I use them to store my jewelry and to hold my air plants!
There are so many great local boutiques, brands, and pop-ups in San Diego, so honestly you can’t go wrong! I’ll be sharing some other faves as I find them, but I strongly encourage everyone to shop small this year! So don’t forget to support your local businesses and smaller boutiques both in person and online!
I’m excited to be on the hunt for more gems for gifts this year! If you have any recommendations for new brands, where I can do some shopping to support small businesses, or if you own a small business yourself, please let me know!
