If any of you know me well, you know I love Disneyland and I love food! There was no questions asked when I really wanted to try all the food on Buzzfeed’s 10 Foods to Put on your Disneyland To-Do List. Not only was I drooling when I saw this list, I was thinking to myself “why haven’t I tried any of these yet!?”
First up, I have the infamous Lobster Nachos from The Cove Bar. The Cove Bar sits nicely at the end of Paradise Pier overlooking the water and has the perfect view of California Screamin’ and Mickey’s Fun Wheel. It is also connected to Ariel’s Grotto – a dining experience where you get to eat delicious food and interact with the different princesses.
The Cove Bar is among the few places that serves alcoholic drinks in the California Adventure Park. These drinks range from the average beer selection and various margaritas you can enjoy while walking throughout the park to the beautiful and delicious cocktail creations from the bartenders themselves. I’m sure many of you have heard or even seen the “Fun Wheel” and “Zombie” drink (pictured above) – strong mixtures of different blends and concoctions that create not only a visual appeal, but something to appease your tastebuds!
When my friend and I went, we went all in. We got the lobster nachos along with a few drinks – The Fun Wheel, Zombie, Blue Hawaiian and the Little Mermaid (the last two were our bartender, Andrew’s, own concoctions). So if you’re ever at the Cove Bar, be sure to look for Andrew as a bartender – he knows how to make some strong and delicious drinks! The lobster nachos were delicious! They didn’t skimp out on the lobster at all, and the nachos themselves were perfectly crispy with the right amount of cheese, sauce and different toppings. It was definitely enough to fill both my friend’s and my tummy. I absolutely loved it! I can see why this made it to the top 10 foods to try by Buzzfeed.
What foods are on your to do try list at Disneyland? I want to try the Monte Cristo next!
