Growing up, I’ve always been around coffee. It was the first thing I would smell in the morning because my parents would always freshly grind their coffee, brew a cup and slowly sip on it as they started their day. And just in the last few years, it’s been ritualistic in my routine. That’s when I truly started to appreciate and learn myself just how important coffee would be in my life. So I wanted to share 3 ways coffee changed my life to celebrate National Coffee Day!
Coffee Helped my Productivity
This goes without saying coffee has caffeine, but coffee has become part of my daily routine that I can’t feel productive until I have coffee. It may have stemmed from my parents and seeing them start their days with a cup, but in all honesty, I feel coffee has played such a huge role in what feels so ritualistic that I can’t imagine a life without it. Whenever I have coffee I feel a lot more productive, I get in a mood ready to tackle anything ahead of me and on my to-do list, and I just feel happier!
I’ve Learned to Appreciate the Simplest Things
The art of coffee itself is so complex and so romantic. The history of it, how it’s grown, roasted, then served and made. I’ve learned to love and respect every aspect of it, and I can’t wait to delve even further. When it comes to making it myself, going to coffee shops and sparking a conversation with the barista about the roast, and getting to savor every sip, that’s what truly makes it magical for me. Since coffee has been a part of my daily routine, it’s helped me slow down and take a step back.
I always feel so nostalgic and in my own world when it’s me and the cup in front of me. And the beauty that comes from a cup of coffee is quite endless! I’ve learned to appreciate the beauty in the simple things and become more grateful for every the little things, including the history and stories that come from coffee!
It’s Helped me Create Coffee & Convos
It’s in the name, but without this magic bean, I wouldn’t have created Coffee & Convos. Coffee & Convos is my baby, my passion, and my way to truly connect with people! Coffee has allowed me to create a platform where I found myself. It’s created an outlet where I am able to sit down and connect with creatives, artists, baristas, and amazing people alike, and at the same time share their story and let their voice be heard!
You can see why coffee is such an integral part of my life and how it’s brought so many opportunities, has given me light and direction, and has helped my process of self growth. Coffee has changed my life for the best because it’s given me so many new perspectives. And I am so thrilled to celebrate National Coffee Day by sharing these reasons why. You’ll never know where a cup of coffee will lead you, whether it’s on a road to productivity, to connecting with new pals or just discovering something new. Coffee isn’t for everyone, but it’s been the best companion on my journey!
